The Performing Arts Council, also known as PAC, was started in 2000 by a group of enthusiastic volunteers. The volunteers wanted to bring concerts to San Carlos, and to enhance the quality of life for those living and visiting San Carlos. Through donations, grants, and gifts the Performing Arts Council has been a major contributor to the diversity of activities in San Carlos.
The Performing Arts Council is a non-profit volunteer organization. PAC is a committee of Club Deportivo (a Mexican non-profit organization.)
