Ronstadts -Generations

The Performing Arts Council of San Carlos is proud to present the outstanding group, Generations at 6:00 p.m. Thursday, March 11 at the San Carlos.

The musical family Ronstadts is well represented by Linda Ronstadt, and her brother Michael J. Ronstadt, and it goes on with the next generation with the sons of Michael J. Ronstadt with Petie as the bassist/singer/songwriter and Michael G. Ronstadt as the cellist/composer/singer. The brothers have grown into fine professional musicians.  At times, they also team up with their dad, Michael J. Ronstadt of the Santa Cruz River Band, for concerts in the United States and Mexico.  At this concert, PAC is so fortunate to have Michael J., Michael G., and Petie all performing together.

All of the recent performances were eclectic showcases of the considerable talent that has seeped into this next batch of Ronstadts. From folkie family favorites and original tunes to Mexican standards passed down from their great-grandparents, the younger Ronstadts anchored and carried the varied fare to new heights. It's what Ronstadts do.
